Will You Join Me?
Selection Taken from :
Reprieve of Contemplation
by Dreamweaver
Night has fallen and the sun has set
The more I think of the days activities, the more tired I get
So much work done with good of heart and strength of will
And still there is always more work to be done, more movement still
Will you join me at the top of the hill?
Will you join me in watching Nature’s scheduled show?
Will you join me since time we have yet to kill?
Will you join me, or for time’s sake must you go?
I await your hand in a place that remains unseen by your eyes
It is my place of habitual rest, imminent relaxation, and lest we forget, sleep filled prize
With time you will see that it is here you are always welcome to be
There will always be a place of warmth, safety, and peace next to me
So, I will ask you once more, before I give a night’s reprieve...
Will you join me at the top of the hill?
Will you join me in watching Nature’s scheduled show?
Will you join me since time we have yet to kill?
Will you join me, or for time’s sake must you go?
